Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Apple cinnamon overnight oats need zero morning effort: stir everything into a jar the night before, and breakfast is ready when you wake up. Moresca N°03 carries its own ripe apple and almond notes, so a spoonful in the mix is less an addition than an extension of what's already in the bottle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Moresca N°03
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Sliced almonds, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a jar or bowl, combine the oats, milk, yogurt, diced apple, cinnamon, Moresca N°03, and honey.
  2. Stir well until everything is evenly combined and no dry oats remain at the bottom.
  3. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, or at least 6 hours, so the oats have time to soften and absorb the liquid.
  4. In the morning, give the oats a good stir and thin with a splash of milk if the mixture has thickened more than you'd like.
  5. Top with sliced almonds just before serving for a bit of crunch.
  6. Eat cold straight from the jar, or warm gently on the stove or in the microwave if you prefer it hot.
